Nov29 - Cooler brought down to Santa Clara for an assessment.
Nov23 - Cooler broken.
Nov22 - Cooler off now back on. I have purged it for the last time and hopefully it will be running by tonite. I am bringing it to the repair shop next week. Cooler hours 2199.
Nov18 - Cooler back on but in bad shape.
Nov16 - Shutdown cooler during bad weather.
Nov15 - Shutdown cooler then turn back on. Hours 2082. Replace dome East dome wheel.
Nov10 - Shutdown cooler during bad weather.
Nov08 - Shutdown as cooler hit 113, it has a knocking sound. Purge and turn back on. Cooler hours=1943.
Nov03 - Shutdown as cooler hit 107. Pump dewar (400mTorr), purge compressor and lines with Helium. Restart cooler hours=1829.
Nov01 - Shutdown cooler as temperature hit 106. also replace dome support wheel. Leak test Dewar at Berkshire Technologies, leak rate of a fewx10-7atm/cm3/s. Start cooling hours=1782.
Oct28 - Secondary motor disconnected to stop runaways. The focus has been left at 572. mils Ignore what the move_sec command says.
Oct 28- Clean IRCam Dewar, purge coldhead, pump out with Alcatel. Nothingly blatantly wrong. Small oil leak in compressor.
Oct 27- Turn off compressor on IR camera in preparation for cooler purge and disassembly to find out why the chip temperature is elevated. Hours=1690.
Oct 25- Install new version of rthirty to hopefully allow secondary to be homed after runaways (the secondary occasionally moves spontaneously to the extreme positive limit). The cause of this failure has not been diagnosed but a work around has been proposed in the Troubleshooting section of the IR Camera operating hints.
Oct 23- Replace power supply on PC ircam.
Oct 21- Purge cooler crosshead hours=1547.
Oct 21- Shutdown cooler as temperature hit 114K.
Oct 18- Mount H filter.
Oct 13- Warm up then cooldown to remove gas contamination.
Jun 30- Install new AD976 chip to hopefully cure timeout problems.
Jun 23- Install J Filter.
